2. What information we collect
When you interact with Mennie Drinks, we may collect your:
- Email address – when you subscribe to the Substack newsletter, join a mailing list or email us directly.
- Name – if you provide it.
- Billing and shipping details – if you make a purchase or join the Print Collective.
- Engagement data – including opens, clicks, unsubscribes through Google, Substack and HubSpot analytics.
Payment information is handled securely by Woo Commerce or Substack and their payment providers (Stripe/PayPal). Mennie Drinks does not store your card details.
3. How we use your information
We use your information to:
- Send you newsletters, stories, and updates via Substack
- Provide subscriber-only benefits and discount codes
- Manage subscriptions and marketing via HubSpot (including tagging interests and segmenting audiences)
- Fulfil and deliver print products ordered via our store or the Print Collective
- Share occasional offers and announcements about Mennie Drinks projects
We will never sell or licence your data to third parties (except as required for our own internal business purposes).
4. Sharing your data
We only share your data with trusted services needed to run Mennie Drinks:
- Substack – for email delivery and subscription management
- HubSpot – for subscriber management and analytics
- Woo Commerce – for online shop and order fulfilment
- Payment processors (Stripe, PayPal) – for secure payments
Each of these services has its own privacy policy and complies with GDPR and data protection standards.
5. Your rights
Under GDPR and UK data protection law, you have the right to:

- Ask us to correct or delete your data
- Unsubscribe from emails at any time (every email contains an unsubscribe link)
